USED c. 1900 A.C. Fairbanks mandola banjo Very rare and original  15" scale, double strung banjo tuned in fifths, currently FCGD. (Not to be confused with the very common, shorter-scaled mandolin banjo.) This instrument may have been built by the Vega company shortly after purchasing Fairbanks.  


7 1/2" spunover rim, calfskin head and barrel nuts. There's a repaired spot in the neck close to the headstock on the bass side. Excellent fresh set up. Includes padded bag. $549

USED Fylde Portuguese mandola Approx. 18" scale.​ Ten strings tuned in four courses. CGDA, with an extra octave string added to the bottom two courses to give a rich, full sound when playing chords, but with pairs of strings on the top two courses for melody playing.
