USED 1916 Gibson F-4 mandolin (sn 33099) Gibson's top-of-the-line mandolin of a century ago in spectacular, original condition.
This mandolin is accompanied by very distinguished provenance. It was owned by the prominent teacher, orchestra leader and composer, Warren Dean of York, Pennsylvania. Mr. Dean's Mandolin Orchestra is highlighted in at least one Gibson catalog of the 1930s. Much documentation regarding this ownership will accompany the mandolin. All solid, handcarved, fully bound, no cracks (or evidence of previously repaired cracks) or separations, all inlays intact, one piece back, straight neck, virtually no fret wear and excellent set up.
Handel tuners are pristine and work wonderfully.
